What you’ll be doing in this role

This role will be responsible for leading the establishment of our new Adventist Healthcare recruitment centre of excellence. It will lead all aspects of recruitment service delivery from candidate pipeline development to placement. We've already got some great recruitment processes and systems in place, but we’re now on a journey to lift the quality of specialist recruitment services and support that we offer to our hiring managers. Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the efficient delivery of all recruitment team activities with a focus on maximising candidate experience
  • Working with stakeholders to translate business and strategic objectives into recruitment team targets, tactical plans, and actions
  • Actively driving recruitment process and system enhancement activities in areas such as candidate channel development, campaigns, advertising, selection, and onboarding
  • Overseeing the annual AHCL new graduate nursing recruitment campaign & first year graduate placement program
  • Overseeing our internal mobility framework in line with AHCL’s commitment to positively promoting internal career pathways; and
  • Facilitating regular ‘check ins’ with stakeholders to ensure that recruitment team performance and service needs are being met.

Who we’re looking for

  • You will have led a recruitment team within a medium to large, complex business environment, preferably within the health services or related sector.
  • You’ll have a deep knowledge of contemporary recruitment strategies and appreciation for how great recruitment contributes to business success.
  • You’ll be committed to the advancement of recruitment techniques and technology to maintain our standing as a leader in the healthcare sector.  
  • You’ll have the ability to build and prosper internal service partnerships & relationships and
  • You’ll be dedicated to Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity.
