What you will be doing in this role

The Hospitality department is looking for a Full Time cleaner, (internally known as a Ward Aide) for our evening shift 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday. In this position, you'll help with tasks like cleaning patient rooms and ward areas, as well as looking after the transportation of waste using our company Ute.

Your job will be to make sure all cleaning procedures are followed to a high standard in both clinical and non-clinical areas, helping to create a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and the community. Above all, you'll be providing excellent customer service to everyone you interact with.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • You'll bring previous experience in a role requiring high standards of hygiene/cleaning, ideally involving manual handling/heavy lifting.
  • You’ll have a valid driving licence and happy to drive our company Ute while transporting waste.
  • You'll communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating experience in interacting thoughtfully with patients, customers, and internal teams.
  • You'll be comfortable working independently without supervision, as well as collaborating with a team when needed.
  • You'll be available to work Full-Time Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm.
  • You'll be self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
  • You'll have a strong understanding of WHS safety and hygiene standards.
  • You’ll hold unlimited Australian working rights.
