What you’ll be doing in this role 
The Intensive Care Unit at the Sydney Adventist Hospital (the San) provides an exciting opportunity to work in a new unit with first-class facilities and a great team of medical, nursing and allied health staff.

This unit is accredited for C6 training with the College of intensive Care Medicine (CICM).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work alongside Senior ICU CMOs and Specialist Intensivists
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork

 

Who we are looking for

  • Accredited Registrar applicants must be at least 3 years post-graduation with at least 6 months’ ICU experience; however unaccredited applicants will also be considered.
  • You'll demonstrate excellent communication skills – both written and verbal skills
  • Great interpersonal skills by considerately and professionally communicate with patients, their families, visitors, and your colleagues
  • You’ll be systematic, able to prioritise tasks but also have initiative and critical problem-solving capability
  • You’ll be adaptable, willing to learn, and work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment
  • You will hold a current AHPRA registration
  • Have the willingness to take relevant ongoing professional development
