What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to our Education Manager, you’ll join our dedicated San Education team and contribute to building the healthcare workforce of the future through your work in coordinating high-quality events.

Throughout the year you will plan, coordinate, deliver and evaluate a series of conferences, symposiums, masterclasses, workshops and simulations for up to 300 attendees on-site, handling all event logistics. You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, grow our sponsorship efforts, and collaborate with our Learning Designer to create impactful, engaging events. Also working with our marketing team you’ll promote the events, manage budgets, and ensure financial tracking for each event’s success.

This is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally, with creative freedom and the chance to ‘own’ your events and make a meaningful contribution to the San Education Health Education Centre of Excellence.

 

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking a highly motivated, organised, and creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in professional conference and events delivery.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with marketing, registration systems, and delegate engagement.
  • The ability to manage budgets, track financials, and stay within budget.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience within the healthcare or clinical education sector is desirable.
