What you will be doing in this role
A dedicated and compassionate Scrub Scout Registered Nurse is sought to join our team in either a Full/Part time or Casual role. You’ll be welcomed into a friendly and experienced perioperative team that supports 19 modern operating theatres, where collaboration and patient-centred care are at the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re experienced in a specific specialty or keen to expand your skills across a variety of procedures, we offer a supportive environment to help you grow.
In this role, you’ll be hands-on in the operating room—preparing for procedures, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a safe, sterile environment—while also having the chance to guide and support junior staff. This is a great opportunity to be part of a welcoming and committed team, where your skills and care will make a real difference every day.
Who we’re looking for:
- You’ll have current AHPRA registration as an RN
- You’ll bring at least 2 years of experience as a scrub/scout in any specialty.
- You’ll show a high level of empathy and possess strong emotional intelligence.
- You’ll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
- You’ll have the flexibility to work across a variety of shifts
- You’ll be available to participate in the on-call roster as required
- You’ll have full Australian working rights

What to expect
