What you will be doing in this role
This is a meaningful, patient-facing role where your compassion, customer service skills, and attention to detail will truly make a difference. You’ll provide vital communication support, helping to triage calls, relay messages, and connect medical, nursing, allied health, and external services.
You’ll ensure the ward runs smoothly by organising and maintaining documents, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and making sure office supplies are stocked. You’ll also coordinate meetings and ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and with care.
You'll ensure the environment stays clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone, while warmly greeting patients, families, and visitors, guiding them through ward procedures and helping with the sign-in process.
This is a Full-Time role, working alongside another Ward Clerk to provide support during shifts from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others, takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment. Experience in a healthcare setting is highly valued, as it demonstrates familiarity with medical terminology and the dynamics of a clinical space.
Above all, you will bring a warm, empathetic approach and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.
