What you will be doing in this role
Due to growth in our Neuro Spinal theatre sessions, we are looking for either Full Time or Part Time Registered Nurses who have demonstrated experience as a Neuro Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse.
Reporting into our Operating Suite, Nurse Unit Manager, you will work within a collaborative and supportive team environment of our highly skilled nursing team. We have a large perioperative team, who support 19 operating theatres and maintain the highest standards in patient-centred care.
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll hold current AHPRA registration ideally with 3-4 years’ experience in as a scrub/scout Nurse
- You’ll have demonstrated experience within the Neuro specialty (especially Craniotomies and Spinal Fusion cases)
- You’ll be flexible to be able to work across a range of shifts including morning and evenings (no night shifts).
- You’ll have the ability to participate in the on-call roster as needed
- You’ll be a team player that is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- You’ll have the ability to use your initiative and critical problem-solving skills
- You’ll have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
