What you will be doing in this role
As an AHPRA Registered Pharmacist, you will be responsible for delivering clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient care. Your role will involve working directly on the wards and rotating through the busy pharmacy dispensary, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional customer service.
The successful applicant will possess demonstrated prior experience as a hospital pharmacist (ideally), showcasing competence in clinical drug knowledge and good computer literacy in pharmacy applications. Your proven capacity to organise a complex workload during periods of high demand, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in undertaking all tasks, will be essential.
We are looking for casual and max term part time applicants, ideally with availability across weekdays. The department is fun, fast paced and consists of 25 staff per shift onsite, with the whole team consisting of 50 employees.
Who we’re looking for
- You'll be a Registered Pharmacist authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
- You'll have 3+ years of clinical experience in acute healthcare settings.
- You’ll have previous involvement in research and quality improvement activities.
- You'll be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for pharmacy and its role in the healthcare sector.
- You'll be well-organised with the ability to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
- You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in considerately and professionally communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.
