What you will be doing in this role
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nutrition Assistants to join our team on a casual basis, providing essential support to the Clinical Dietitians in delivering high-quality nutritional care to inpatients.
You will play a vital role in supporting our nutrition team by assisting in the preparation and delivery of meals to patients and ensuring that dietary needs are met according to individual care plans. You will work closely with healthcare staff to provide excellent patient care through proper nutrition.
As a casual team member, you will support the team by covering 2-3 shifts per week, ideally with availability to work weekdays.
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll have previous experience in a nutrition support role within the healthcare industry.
- You’ll have a current relevant qualification or part way through studying towards one.
- You’ll have used CBORD system software or similar.
- You’ll have a commitment to delivering great customer service across a diverse customer base.
- You’ll have strong communication skills - written, verbally and over the phone.
- You’ll have strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while producing accurate, quality work.
