About the role:
We are currently seeking Casual Registered Nurses to join our Cardiology/Cardiothoracic ward. With a patient-centred approach, you'll deliver exceptional care that addresses the whole patient and actively involves them in their treatment process. As part of a collaborative and supportive team of nurses, you'll work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team, all under the guidance of the Nursing Unit Manager (NUM).
This position requires flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts. You’ll receive comprehensive onboarding and orientation, along with continuous support from a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to ensure you thrive in your new role.
What we are looking for:
- You'll be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least two years of post-graduate experience.
- You'll ideally have at least one year of hands-on experience in a Cardiology or Cardiothoracic setting.
- You'll have a genuine passion for ongoing learning and professional development.
- You'll bring outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to connect effectively with patients, families, and your team.
- You'll be adaptable and open to working across a rotating seven-day roster, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
- You'll be eligible to work in Australia without restrictions, ensuring you're ready to hit the ground running.
