What you’ll be doing in this role
Our Allied Health department are currently looking for compassionate and motivated casual Therapy Assistants to join our dynamic team consisting of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists delivering evidence-based patient care.
As a Therapy Assistant you’ll support the therapists in delivering therapy sessions, maintaining patient records, and fostering a positive environment within our rehab and acute areas.
Casual roles are available, with approximately 3 shifts per week across 7 days.
Who we’re looking for
- Completion of a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance desirable.
- You'll demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a friendly, positive attitude.
- You’ll have great time management skills, with the ability to alter your priorities according to varying deadlines.
- You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, work well within a team environment and independently.
- You’ll be empathetic, systematic, detail-oriented, and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity.
