What you’ll be doing in this role

This role is responsible for maintaining a functional data system for users, including improving the system for end users, and ensuring users have appropriate data access according to their role.

Reporting to the Corporate Risk Manager and working with the Risk Management team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day supervision of the Riskman software operation
  • Ensuring system updates occur regularly to ensure access is restricted to current users only
  • Developing reports and monitoring access to users of the system
  • Providing oversight and management of software upgrades in conjunction with the Information Systems team and the vendor
  • Driving and reporting on supplier performance and service standards while maintaining productive relationships with vendors
  • Liaising with the Corporate Risk Manage to ensure that the features in the software relevant to AHCL are utilised to maximise management of the information for accurate and timely decision-making
  • Under the guidance of the Corporate Risk Manager and the Privacy Officer, ensuring that data management requirements are in line with Standards such as AS 31000,
    AS 27001 and legalisation such as the Privacy Act
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement; and
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll be proficient at using MS Office Applications
  • You will have had experience using RiskMan Software or RLDatix systems
  • You’ll have some knowledge or had experience working with SQL and HTML language
  • You’ll have knowledge and understanding of Privacy Legalisation and requirements of data security
  • You’ll have a demonstrated track record for working with staff of differing levels of knowledge and understanding of software
  • Your friendly and positive way of working with people will be obvious in how you considerately and professionally communicate with patients, their families, visitors, and your colleagues
  • You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, work well within a team environment, and able to work independently
  • You’ll be empathetic, systematic, detail-oriented, and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity.
