The Paediatric Department is a 24-hour acute 12-bed unit with 6 long-stay beds and a short-stay unit. We care for infants, children, and teenagers covering a range of Specialty treatments. We are looking for a motivated team member to join our specialised unit.

The role of the Paediatric Registered Nurse will be to provide holistic care to our pateints and their families. Liaising between multidisciplinary teams to advocate and provide best practice outcomes for those in our care is essential. The role requires the applicant to have flexibility to work within a rotating roster.

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  • Current registration with APHRA
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Proven ability to work as a contributing and cooperative team member
  • Between the Flags Program, NSW Health DETECT
  • Bloodsafe Clinical Transfusion Practice

Desired:

  • Paediatric medical / surgical experience
  • Post graduate studies in paediatrics or working towards
