What you’ll be doing in this role
We are currently looking for a part time, 34 hours per week Sonographer to join our Radiology & Nuclear Medicine team. This role will report to our dedicated and nurturing Section Manager. You will be primarily responsible for providing excellent patient care, this includes performing ultrasound examinations, customer service and imaging to our high-quality standards.
This role will work closely with patients and their families, referrers (including doctors and other medical professionals) whilst delivering evidence-based patient care.
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll have knowledge and skills as a qualified Sonographer working within a hospital, or healthcare setting
- You’ll have skills & experience working specifically in Paediatrics
- You'll have current registration with ASAR and other relevant requirements associated with the position
- You’ll have experience or an interest in general, vascular, MSK (Muscular Skeletal)
- You'll demonstrate excellent communication skills – (both written and verbal) in liaising with patients face to face, via phone and email
- You’ll have the ability to work both independently and within a team.
