Whatyou’ll be doing in this role 
We are searching for a full-time permanent a Pre-Admission Clinic Administrator to become part of our friendly Patient Services team here at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. Here at the San, we take pride in providing high-quality care to patients, their families and visitors alike.

As a Pre-Admission Clinic Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing outstanding customer service to our patients
  • Preparing pre-admission packs & booking pre-admission clinic appointments
  • Liaising with doctors, anaesthetists & managing hospital bookings
  • Updating and maintaining booking protocols for doctors and anaesthetists
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement by actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork 


Who we are looking for

  • Previous administration and clerical experience – preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the willingness to go above & beyond for patients and their families
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, as well written communications skills for accurate, and transparent documentation
  • Your friendly & positive way of working with people will be obvious in how you considerately and professionally communicate with patients, their families, visitors, and your colleagues.
  • You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, and be able to work independently and in a team
  • You’ll be empathetic, systematic, detail-oriented, have great time management

What to expect
