Radley Ward is a 29-bed surgical post-operative, post-ICU neurosurgical ward, combined with Neuroscience.

Radley Neuroscience Ward has a dynamic mix of cases in the neuroscience specialty which provide great learning opportunities for our nurses. Our services include stroke unit care, brain and spinal surgeries, plus neuro-oncology surgeries and general adult neurology. We believe in staff engagement and we are culturally diverse.

We are looking for a dedicated and committed Registered or Enrolled nurse to join our excellent and efficient Neuroscience team to provide the best care to our patients.

The successful applicant will meet the following criteria:

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • ENs to have completed HLTEN519 "Administer and monitor Intravenous medication in the Nursing Environment"
  • Between the Flags Program, NSW Health DETECT
  • Bloodsafe Clinical Transfusion Practice


Desirable:

  • Recent neuro-surgical and/or general neurology experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a teamwork environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and critical problem-solving capability
  • Willingness to take relevant ongoing professional development related to Neuroscience
  • Aligned with our hospital mission of Christianity in Action
  • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
