What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead the revenue cycle function and help ensure the organisation receives the best possible reimbursement for the care we provide.

You will manage health fund contracts and negotiations, review fees and identify opportunities to improve revenue. You'll work closely with executive, clinical and operational leaders to make sure contract requirements are understood and embedded across the organisation.

A key focus will be building strong relationships with health funds and other payers, as well as leading health fund audit activities and identify opportunities to improve revenue cycle performance.

 

Who we’re looking for

You are an experienced healthcare commercial or revenue leader with strong knowledge of the Australian healthcare funding environment. Commercially astute and highly analytical, you are confident negotiating complex contracts, interpreting financial data and influencing senior stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in healthcare revenue, payer relations, contracting or a similar role
  • Strong contract negotiation and commercial management skills
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian healthcare funding and regulatory environment
  • Experience developing RFPs and managing complex contractual arrangements
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Health Management or a related field preferred
