What you’ll be doing in this role

Our Allied Health department is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic casual Therapy Assistants to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team. Together, we provide evidence-based care across our rehabilitation and acute services, supporting patients on every step of their recovery journey.

As a Therapy Assistant, you'll work closely with our team to support patient recovery one on one and in groups, assist with maintaining patient records, and help create a positive, welcoming environment for patients and their families.

We currently have casual opportunities available, with approximately three 6.5-hour shifts per week across Monday to Sunday, offering flexibility to suit your availability.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance is desirable.
  • You're a confident communicator with a warm, friendly approach and a genuine passion for helping others.
  • You have excellent organisational and time management skills and can confidently adapt to changing priorities.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also being able to work independently when required.
  • You're empathetic, organised and detail-oriented, and you're committed to living Adventist Healthcare's values of excellence, integrity and compassionate care every day.

What to expect

Successful candidates will be required to complete a range of pre-employment checks and assessments. These vary and could include professional references, functional questionnaire, a national police check, working with children check, vaccination evidence, among others.
