What you’ll be doing in this role

Reporting to the Wardsperson Manager, you'll work with a large and supportive team who play a key role in supporting patients throughout their hospital journey. You’ll assist with moving patients between wards, helping with patient transfers and positioning, transporting essential medical equipment and providing manual handling support to our departments.

This role is about making a meaningful difference by collaborating with internal teams to ensure patients receive the care, comfort, and support they need to feel more at ease during their time here.

We have several full-time roles available, working across a 24/7 roster including days, nights and weekends. You'll become part of a supportive team dedicated to making a positive difference for patients every day while building a rewarding career in healthcare.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Previous experience working in a face-to-face, customer service-based role (such as hospitality), with the ability to demonstrate providing assistance and helping others.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to make light conversation with people from all walks of life.
  • Ready to provide support by being adaptable and willing to learn in a busy, team-oriented environment.
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed.

What to expect
