What you will be doing in this role

Working as a Secretary within the San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine team you will provide administrative support and high-quality customer service to patients and referrers across appointment scheduling, arrivals, invoicing, receipting and report distribution.

You will work in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams to help to deliver a high-quality imaging service. You will report into the Secretary Supervisor who is approachable and supportive and wants to see you succeed in this role.

This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

We would prefer the successful person to work full time, but we also welcome applications from candidates looking for 4 days per week. You’ll need to be available to work on a rotating roster Mon-Fri between 6.30am and 8.30pm.

Who we’re looking for

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others, takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centred environment. Experience in a healthcare setting is highly valued, as it demonstrates familiarity with medical terminology and the dynamics of a clinical space, however this is not essential.

You’ll have:

  • Demonstrated high level of computer literacy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence communicating effectively with team members, patients and their families via email, telephone and face-to-face.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Full Australian working rights and availability to work either full-time or part-time (4 days per week) on a rotating roster.

If you enjoy working with people, can confidently manage a busy reception, and want to contribute to outstanding patient care, we would love to hear from you.
