What you will be doing in this role
As an AHPRA Registered Pharmacist, you will be responsible for delivering clinical pharmacy services tailored to patient care. Your role will involve working directly on the wards and rotating through the busy pharmacy dispensary, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional customer service.
The successful applicants will possess demonstrated prior experience in hospital pharmacy - ideally with experience in oncology pharmacy - showcasing competence in clinical drug knowledge and good computer literacy in pharmacy applications. Your proven capacity to organise a complex workload during periods of high demand, coupled with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in undertaking all tasks, will be essential.
We are seeking a full-time employee able to work 38 hours on a rotating roster Monday to Sunday, with shifts running from 6:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The department is fun, fast paced and consists of 25 staff per shift onsite, with the whole team consisting of 50 employees.
Who we’re looking for
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Pharmacist, with a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years’ clinical experience in acute healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated experience participating in research and quality improvement activities.
- A motivated and enthusiastic approach, with a passion for pharmacy and its role within the healthcare sector.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally and considerately with internal and external stakeholders.
