What you will be doing in this role

In this role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team ensuring the smooth operation of hospital technology systems that support patient care and staff efficiency. Reporting to the IS Support Lead, you’ll resolve technical issues, maintain hardware and software systems, and provide user support and training.

You’ll be responsible for managing computer accounts with attention to detail, ensuring correct access and licencing is applied promptly to reduce security risks and costs.

You’ll use InTune to configure and deploy Microsoft Intune MDM for both iOS and Android platforms ensuring a smooth rollout with minimal user disruption. You’ll create secure device profiles and manage compliance settings, security policies, and user access controls.

In SharePoint you will manage SharePoint permissions and provide user support and training. You’ll implement and maintain SharePoint and 365 groups and assist in implementing enhancements such as global navigation, hub site configuration, and template deployment.

As part of our busy IS Helpdesk Support team you will participate in supporting a wide range of business-critical applications, resolve complex issues across endpoints and identity, manage user accounts, contribute to ICT projects and upgrades, and assist with maintaining documentation. You will participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support for the hospital.

Who we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in a complex ICT environment, including support for end-user devices, applications, and systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mobile device configuration (iOS and Android) and application management using InTune.
  • Experience managing SharePoint administration including creation of pages, maintenance, permissions, enhancements and training
  • Expertise in Windows desktop deployment, PC hardware, and enterprise networking, with specific experience in Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to supporting and engaging with a diverse user base.
  • Comfortable working in project-based settings, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail in documentation.
  • Collaborative team player, with the ability to translate technical solutions into practical outcomes.
  • Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24-hour operational support for the hospital.
