What you will be doing in this role  

Join our dedicated team of emergency care specialists and nursing staff as a Permanent Registered Nurse caring for a wide variety of presentations including cardiac, neuro, paediatric, sporting injuries, respiratory, wounds and more. The Emergency Centre is fast paced, challenging but a rewarding environment.   

Reporting to our highly experienced and supportive Nurse Unit Manager (NUM), you will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver holistic nursing care in accordance with the National competency Standards and Adventist HealthCare policies and procedures.   

Who we’re looking for  

  • Current AHPRA rego with a minimum of 3 years of experience within an Emergency or Critical Care setting (Must have) 
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have strong time management skills 
  • Flexibility to work a range of 8,10 and 12-hour shifts across morning, afternoons and nights
  • Demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence 
  • Exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their  families and colleagues. 
  • Full Australian working rights
