What You’ll Be Doing in This Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Sonographer to join our dynamic and supportive Ultrasound team. In this role, you will perform high-quality ultrasound exams, with a strong emphasis on patient care, customer service, and maintaining imaging standards. You’ll report to the Ultrasound Section Manager and work alongside a dedicated team providing services in General, Small Parts, Breast, MSK, Paediatric, and Vascular Ultrasound.

As part of our team, you will uphold the core values of the sonography profession, maintain clinical excellence, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. You will actively contribute to the team’s success by supporting daily operations, resolving issues, maintaining thorough patient records and ensuring accurate records in RIS/PACS.
The team collaborate in a limited on-call nights and weekend rotational roster including weekday RDO’s when the weekend is worked. We take great pride in offering compassionate care in a state-of-the-art setting, and we are excited to invite a talented Sonographer to join us in making a positive impact on patient lives.
Who we’re looking for
- You’ll hold a Degree in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent), and ASAR registration (Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry).
- Ideally, you’ll have 2-3 years’ experience across a diverse skillset including General, Small Parts, Breast, MSK, Paediatric and Vascular.
- Proven experience in general ultrasound and assisting with interventional exams, including mobile services.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address clinical challenges and develop effective solutions.
- You’ll be an active learner, contributing to case libraries and engaging in personal development activities.
- Open to candidates with availability for 2-4 days per week, including some weekend and on-call night duties.
