What you will be doing in this role
We’re looking for a passionate and creative Graphic Designer to join our Marketing, Communications & Business Development team. As the sole Designer in the team, and reporting to our Director, you’ll have the autonomy to come up with fresh, engaging ideas while strengthening our established brand, values and mission.
You’ll lead the design of assets for a wide range of platforms including publications, merchandise, digital, social media, signage and much more, while collaborating with teams to support strategic goals and community engagement. You’ll also organise and manage design assets, ensuring proper permissions, usage rights, and compliance with policies and regulations.
Your designs will directly contribute to enhancing the experience for patients, staff, and the wider community. Our team is collaborative and creative, offering plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your career.
This is a part-time role, offering 30 hours a week across 4 days.
Who we’re looking for
- You'll need to have about 5 years of experience in graphic design (either agency or internal), with a portfolio that demonstrates your creative abilities and attention to detail.
- You’ll have passion and an ability to think outside the box, bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table while working within brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office and Acrobat software).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
- You will be working closely with other departments, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- As part of our healthcare environment, you'll need to quickly adjust to changing priorities and work across a variety of creative outputs.
