What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Director of Trials and Research, this role provides strategic leadership across our clinical trials and research functions. You'll unify key research operations, driving visibility, performance, and innovation. Your focus will be on enhancing the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) capacity, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring governance excellence in line with national frameworks.

This is a Full-Time, Mon-Fri onsite position. 

 

Who we’re looking for

  • A strong understanding of clinical trial governance, compliance with legal, ethical, and policy standards gained from extensive direct experience in clinical trials.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and introduce new technologies.
  • Experience in creating and implementing strategies for clinical trials and research.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Clear, impactful communicator, able to explain findings and promote research programs.
  • Expertise in expanding clinical trial portfolios and enhancing organisational reputation.
  • Ability to assess financial viability of trials and make informed resource decisions.
  • Experience in setting performance goals and improving team efficiency.
  • Effective resource management, meeting both operational and financial targets.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in higher management roles.
