What you will be doing in this role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant in Nursing (AIN) who is genuinely passionate about building a long-term career as an AIN to join our Rehabilitation Department. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to the profession and values continuity of care, professional growth, and making a meaningful impact on patients’ recovery journeys.

In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse. You will deliver safe, compassionate and person‑centred care in line with each patient’s individual care plan, assisting with daily living activities, mobility support and therapeutic exercises that promote independence and improved function.

Beyond hands-on care, you will contribute to the accurate collection of clinical information and ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with hospital policies. Your professionalism, attention to detail and commitment to teamwork will be key to delivering high-quality care within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Who we’re looking for

To be successful in this role you will be a dedicated Assistant in Nursing who sees this as a long-term career pathway not a short-term position while pursuing other qualifications  

  • Must hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or Individual Support and are a career AIN 
  • Have the availability to work consistent 30 hours per week Mon - Fri for morning shifts 
  • Prior experience in providing direct care, ideally within a hospital, aged care, disability or rehabilitation setting
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Have an interest in nursing best practice with an understanding of policies to ensure confidentiality, dignity, respect and the rights of patients are upheld.
  • Full Australian work rights (we do not offer sponsorship)
