What you will be doing in this role
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, in this full-time hands-on role you’ll be responsible for managing stock and consumables across the Sydney Adventist Hospital campus. You’ll ensure deliveries are received accurately and distributed promptly to the correct departments, helping clinical teams maintain the supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care. You’ll use ERP systems to track inventory, respond to daily requests, and maintain clean, organised storage areas. With a strong focus on safety and efficiency, you’ll play a key part in keeping our hospital operations running smoothly.
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team player with strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be confident working independently to meet deadlines.
- You’ll bring excellent communication skills, a good understanding of infection control principles (or be willing to learn), and a strong grasp of numbers and inventory processes.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience in a hospital stores function or a highly regulated supply chain setting, and have strong computer literary with ERP software, using ERP systems like JDE, Oracle, or SAP.
- A Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain within first few months of employment, a Certificate III in Warehousing & Distribution is desirable, but not essential.
