What you will be doing in this role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in our Endoscopy & Procedures Centre, you’ll report to the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and collaborate with a passionate clinical leadership team. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating and delivering top-notch patient care, while continuously evaluating and enhancing clinical practices.
In this exciting position, you’ll be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge clinical equipment and procedures, ensuring our team remains at the leading edge of medical advancements. You’ll also facilitate competency assessments, fostering a skilled and knowledgeable workforce. Who we’re looking for:
- You’ll have current AHPRA registration as an RN with at least 3 years’ post registration experience ideally in Anaesthetics.
- You’ll have a relevant post-registration qualification with 12 months’ experience working within the clinical area of the specified qualification OR
- You’ll have 3 years’ experience in a relevant specialist field.
- You’ll be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in clinical decision making, especially when it comes to problem identification and solution, and analysing and interpreting clinical data
- You’ll have excellent knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and evidence-based practice
- You’ll have the flexibility to work a full time roster between the hours of 7am - 830pm Monday - Friday
- You’ll have full Australian working rights
