About the role:

Our proven 12-month Graduate Nurse program will support you in the transition from a student nurse to a Registered Nurse role within our acute care setting. During the program you will have the opportunity to develop your skills within speciality areas under the guidance of experienced and supportive staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Learning and developing your skills to be able to deliver exceptional evidence-based nursing care and monitoring to patients
  • Wholeheartedly aspiring to support and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement and
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork

To be successful you will:

  • Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA), including English language requirements
  • Hold Australian Citizenship or a visa permitting full-time employment in Australia (without regional restrictions)
  • Can commit to a minimum 32 hours per week on a rotating roster working across morning, afternoons, nights and weekends
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in verbal and written communication.
  • Have up to date clinical knowledge and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Be capable to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Understand professional, ethical, and legal standards in healthcare
  • Have completion of nursing studies within 12 months of the program start date
