What you’ll be doing in this role

In our large state-of-the-art facility, we dispense over 3,500 scripts per week and as a busy pharmacy team, we pride ourselves on our culture of excellence and high standards of service and patient care.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Dispensing medication under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Assisting with stocktake and stock management
  • Participating in a rotating roster to provide service to our patients 7 days a week
  • Liaising with Doctors, Nurses, and Allied health colleagues to optimise patient health outcomes
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement; and
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork.

Who we’re looking for

  • You'll have experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a Hospital or Community Pharmacy setting
  • You'll preferably have a Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support (or equivalent), although not essential
  • You'll have good oral, computer and written communication skills
  • You’ll be a motivated and enthusiastic person with a passion for pharmacy and its importance in the healthcare sector
  • You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, and able to work independently and in a team
  • You’ll be friendly, detail-orientated and be dedicated to Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity.
