What you’ll be doing in this role
This role is pivotal in enhancing the proficiency of our coding team by delivering targeted education, conducting coding audits, and collaborating with clinicians and clinical documentation specialists to elevate the accuracy and quality of clinical coding and documentation.
As an experienced coding educator, you will inspire and motivate our team, ensuring continuous support and professional development. Your extensive knowledge of the Australian Coding Standards will be instrumental in helping the department to achieve our targets, secure successful audits, and provide ongoing guidance to internal stakeholders.
You will be a valued member of a highly skilled team working in a bright, collaborative environment, and utilising our user-friendly, customised Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to uphold the highest standards in clinical coding.
