What you will be doing in this role

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Midwives. We have flexibility to consider those people open to full-time, part time and casual opportunities at NSW’s largest private hospital. Join a supportive, well-established team that is led by a hands-on and flexible Nursing Unit Manager who is dedicated to your success and professional development.

We offer a variety of shifts to suit your lifestyle, though some night shift availability is required. These roles are based in the Birth Unit, Postnatal Unit, Well Baby Nursery, and Special Care Nursery, where you’ll support the health and wellbeing of mothers and newborns. You’ll deliver personalised care and postpartum education, with a comprehensive two-week orientation and ongoing support from the NUM and Team Leaders.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife with at least 2 years post registration experience.
  • You’ll have experience working within a private hospital (preferred but not essential)
  • You’ll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
  • You’ll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
  • You’ll be able to commit to perm mid-week night shifts (highly desirable) however candidates that can work a mix of 2 nights and 2 day shifts are also encouraged to apply.
  • You’ll have full Australian working rights
