What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will join a high-performing and supportive Talent Acquisition team delivering end-to-end recruitment services across the hospital. Working closely with managers and teams throughout the business, you’ll help attract and secure great people across a wide range of roles.

You will support the full recruitment lifecycle, including talent pooling, job briefings, advertising, candidate screening (across both high and low volume roles), interview coordination, offer management, and pre-employment checks, ensuring compliance at every stage.

Using your strong communication, organisation and people skills, you’ll build positive, trusted relationships with hiring managers and internal teams. You’ll take pride in delivering a smooth, timely recruitment experience and ensuring every candidate feels supported and engaged throughout the process.

This is a great opportunity for a proactive and organised recruiter who’s ready to grow. It’s ideal for someone with a year or two of agency experience looking to move in-house, or for someone early in their recruitment career who’s built a solid foundation in practical, hands-on recruitment.

Who we’re looking for

  • Practical skills gained from your previous recruitment experience across key activities such as writing job ads, phone screening, shortlisting, interview coordination and talent pooling.
  • You will thrive in this role if you are energetic, organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable managing high volumes of applications and working on multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Strong, natural communication skills, making it easy to connect with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, Teams and applicant tracking systems (PageUp experience is a bonus), as well as recruitment platforms such as Seek and LinkedIn.
  • High attention to detail and genuine care for delivering accurate, high-quality work - even when things are moving quickly - ensuring a high-quality experience for both candidates and the business.
