What you will be doing in this role
Reporting to the Education Manager, you’ll join our dedicated San Education team, taking the lead in shaping and driving innovative clinical education programs across the organisation.
You’ll provide expert guidance on evidence-based education, ensuring all learning initiatives align with best practice standards, accreditation requirements, and the organisation’s strategic goals. Your leadership will help lift clinical excellence through impactful and engaging education initiatives.
This role will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating simulation-based and practice-integrated learning experiences to enhance clinical decision-making, teamwork, and patient experience. Collaborating with nursing, medical, allied health, patient experience, and quality teams, you’ll champion the development of forward-thinking education programs across the continuum of care.

Who we’re looking for
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring extensive hands-on experience in acute healthcare, with a proven track record in a clinical education position. This opportunity is well suited to a current Clinical Nurse Educator who’s ready to take the next step and make a lasting impact across the entire organisation.
You’ll need to have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (essential)
- Masters in Nursing or equivalent (desirable)
- Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education (desirable)
- Graduate Certificate in Quality & Safety / Improvement Science (desirable)
- Proven experience in leading or contributing to simulation education to enhance clinical competency.
- In-depth expertise in adult learning principles, clinical supervision, and developing effective learning programs
- Comprehensive understanding of NSQHS Standards and clinical governance frameworks.
- ALS Instructor certification with the Australian Resuscitation Council or willingness to obtain (essential)
