What you’ll be doing in this role

Here at AHCL we have three busy Cardiac Catheterization Labs. We offer a large structural heart programme along with coronary angiograms, coronary stenting, device implantation and EP procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional evidence-based nursing care and monitoring to patients including scrub, scout, recovery and day stay.
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of clinical excellence and continuous quality improvement and
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork 

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll bring excellent clinical skills
  • Your friendly and positive way of working with people will be obvious in how you considerately and professionally communicate with patients, their families, visitors, and your colleagues
  • You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, and be able to work independently and in a team
  • You’ll be very committed to contemporary nursing practice and individual patient-centred care
  • You’ll be empathetic, systematic, detail-oriented, and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity
  • You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration
  • Ideally, you’ll have previous cath lab experience and previous critical care experience, and
  • Preferably, you will have also completed the NSW Health DETECT, Between the Flags Program and Bloodsafe Clinical Transfusion Practice programs.
