What you’ll be doing in this role

The Information Services team is responsible for the successful implementation of information and communications technology within Adventist HealthCare. As such, several millions of dollars of equipment pass through each year.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the purchase, receipting, invoicing and payment, together with the updating of accounting and financial records
  • General administration, including coordinating of staff records, visitor management and events organisation
  • Diary management for the CIO and providing administrative assistance to 3 managers
  • Wholeheartedly contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous quality improvement, and
  • Actively supporting a culture of comradery and teamwork.

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll be a people person, capable of dealing with hospital staff and doctors
  • You’ll have several years’ experience in a business administration role with a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent
  • You’ll have demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with information and communication technology terminology and basic systems understanding
  • You’ll have high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook with strong experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • You’ll be capable of undertaking work at varying levels of skill
  • You’ll be collaborative, adaptable, and be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You’ll be adaptable, systematic, and prepared to embrace Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity
  • Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications and experience working within health care.
