What you’ll be doing in this role

The Perioperative Department is seeking a passionate and credentialed Clinical Support Educator who will develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs for clinical staff across all specialty areas.

As an expert in the field, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development and delivery of specialty-related education programs
  • Working to ensure high-quality care is delivered in accordance with industry requirements and professional guidelines
  • Actively contributing to a culture of comradery and teamwork
  • Actively contributing to a culture of continuous quality improvement

Who we’re looking for

  • You’ll be a Registered Nurse with a minimum four years’ experience and post-graduate qualification as deemed appropriate
  • You’ll have demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication skills
  • You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, systematic and be committed to Adventist Healthcare’s everyday values of excellence and integrity.
  • You’ll be collaborative, working both independently and cooperatively with San Education Team as well as the broader hospital service.
  • Ideally, you’ll be in possession of, or have significant progression towards the attainment of a post-graduate qualification in Education and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Someone with experience in a leadership role, previous involvement in clinical education and training, as well as experience in the implementation of changes to nursing practice, would be welcome.
